MOBILE HUB IN LUXEMBOURG

The challenge:
At the location at the Luxembourg train station there are cell phone systems from several operators, all of which have to be accommodated within a large construction. Due to the location of the cell phone system, the cladding has to withstand wind speeds of up to 180 km / h. The antennas were already in operation during the work and their function could not be disturbed. An optical and structural adaptation to an already existing concrete building was necessary.

The SIMEX solution:
Several radio-transparent composite panels, developed using the infusion process, were screwed onto a robust steel substructure in order to install a large, stable cladding.
A total of 90 square meters were clad with 12 individual elements. Installation was carried out in a time and cost-efficient manner using a roof crane within 2.5 days.
