WEATHER PROTECTION MADE OF GLASS FIBER REINFORCED PLASTIC PROFILES
The challenge:
the free-standing cell phone mast on the Hoher Kasten mountain is exposed to the weather conditions. The accumulation of ice on the antennas reduces the transmission quality.
The SIMEX solution:
With little use of material, an open protective structure was installed above the antennas on the cell phone mast. The positioning prevents ice cubes from being deposited on the antennas and, thanks to the open design, ensures optimal radio performance of the system.
